Asheville Yoga Festival continues its evolution into the preeminent yoga festival in the Southeast with the second year of the expanded festival that will include 70 classes and over 40 renowned instructors over the four-day event. The Festival is tentatively scheduled to take place July 25-28 in venues throughout downtown Asheville and will continue to highlight amazing local yoga teachers while also bringing in more nationally-recognized presenters to offer new perspectives on the practice of yoga. Attendees have the option to purchase a three or four-day ticket. The four-day includes a choice of a special intensive session on Thursday. Festival goers will be able to create their own schedule on a first come, first served basis.

In addition to classes ranging from yin and Thai massage to  acro yoga to fiery bahkti inversions, the Festival will also host daily talks and presentations, with speakers addressing everything from body image to yoga photography to yoga and politics.

The Mountain Air Market will again feature vendors in Pack Square Park, offering everything from jewelry and art work to body care products and fresh, organic food.  Attendees can also look forward to the opportunity to indulge in massage, acupuncture, and other healing arts modalities. There will be other Festival activities such as guided hikes, wellness tours of downtown Asheville, live music and more.
